IMO, HDK's exquisite one-pagers would have overwhelmed the limitations of having to use text to win scientific arguments. In fact, a case as convoluted as Amarin's demanded such an alternative format, especially to prove scientific facts. The trial format allowed the Generics to overrun facts with fiction by using expert opinion as a ruse to dirty up objective indicia.

In Convington's hands, Bhatt's paper would have faceplanted Generics. Unfortunately, it was written as a response to Du's wrong conclusion. In any case, using HDK's format, Convington would have won hands down IMO.
