They need to go in a series, depends on the elements. Heavy element removed first. All brines are different they need to configure which patents to combine for each brine.
That is why I believe, IBAT does not need to build a big plant. They only need to build a pilot plant. If sucessful they can lease the patent to be used with other patents, with other companies, who have the funds to go big.
If pilot plant is successful ibat will have to have their lithium samples tested by a tier one battery maker to show that ibat can make battery quallity lithium.
This is the process Lake resources is doing with Liac Solutions, (Dr. John Burba's other/past patents) It is a long process.
