It is pretty cool looking. They should be able to fit a lot of them in the initial space they use for creating DCVax-L for patients. Scalability has been one of the biggest issues they would face upon success and this is a major step in the right direction for resolving it. Since the team that developed it now works for NWBO, they will be introducing upgrades and improvements specifically geared to NWBO’s needs as they evolve in the future.

IMO, scalability and cost of goods are amongst the biggest issues NWBO faced in terms of BP being interested in acquiring them. Not that I’m interested in a buyout any time soon (assuming positive TLD of course).

This development reminds me of how tool and die making has evolved over the last few decades. Used to be one man per machine. Now it’s all computerized and one guy monitors a bunch of automated tool and die machines whirring away.

Hope they got their web master too — s/he could update NWBO’s site as well as clinicaltrials.gov. wink
