OUTRAGOUS... or anyone, regarding taking CMKX as a tax loss in 2006.

You do NOT have to sell or dispose of this stock to write it off. It has been revoked and deemed worthless so take the write off on Sch D. You make the representation there... show what you paid for it and the current value at time of writeoff is $0.
