Yes and Yes. In addition, Chairman of the Board and Directors have never attended ASHM in the past with John Kang being the only exception and, perhaps the two Bentley Brothers. Not only was I surprised to see Walter Weyler from Washington State, but also, former directors, Henri Tchen and Kenneth Barnett. Normally, only Noteholders showed up at meetings besides regular shareholders. Quite often, the Intellectual Properties Guy from Caltech would show up, but since the departure of most of the Caltech team from LQMT I have never seen him again.

But what was really surprising was the free flow of information exchange (perhaps due to the language barrier) amidst confrontations about the choice of LF for manufacturing and the attempts to defend choosing that location for the benefit of existing employees, rather than for the logistics of that location (Don't need to get into the 4000 amp line, etc.) And, Even former director and shareholder Tchen was concerned about the lack of release of information to shareholders on timely information (say the 4000 amp line) which had delay after delay after delay. And one of the two former directors, I think it was Tchen, said that the Company wasn't being run like a business or professional. So, Professor Li took a lot away from that meeting.

Of course, ultimately the location proved to not only wrong, but a real waste of shareholders money for three years.

GOTFISH wrote an excellent summary of the meeting, but I am unable to find it under his posts. Perhaps, he can republish it for all to read. One of the best summaries I have ever read. It should be in the archives of deleted posts.
