Let's look at the Top 100 back nearly 2 years ago. We know the median was at not quite 60 months, so 50 people had lived beyond that point. The thing is, we don't know how many of those 50 remain alive, and how many had passed on at that time. I believe at roughly the same time Dr. Liau indicated that something over 80 remained alive in the trial, and that all the last 100 to start the trial were under treatment for less than 48 months at that time.

The median of the Top 100 cannot go down, it can go up, or it can stay where it is, but knowing that many were living at under 60 months, as they pass the 60 months point they move that median up.

It's been nearly two years since we got those figures, I believe that we'll see a substantial improvement in that median when we hear about them again, I'm not certain that's something that will be in the TLD statement. I would not be surprised if the median for the Top 100 has risen to near 70 months and it will continue to rise as long as some who are currently living have not yet reached the median.
