Some disconnected thoughts:

1. Some years ago I came across information that HIV medications
were known to increase heart-attacks. This was thought to be
from the HIV drugs weakening the lining over the plaque! One
solution to this problem might be Vascepa which strengthens
the lining over the plaque. Who makes HIV drugs? GILD!
Should they be advising their users of these HIV drugs to
take Vascepa? (Or at least do a study.) As much as I tried
to get some on this message board to pursue this there was
zero interest.

2. Also, some years ago there was discussion that Vascepa might
remedy Periodontal disease. Of course, the theory that such
oral inflammation will make its way into the CV system.

My point in all of this is that Vascepa may have a myriad of uses
which for now the medical establishment is ignoring. Too bad since
CVD is the worlds #1 killer.
