Yeah it's comical how folks believe SEC investigation are about "criminal" acts. Which the SEC doesn't prosecute. They can't. Instead that would be handed off to the NY AG or the Feds. Worst case is Brown being run out of the market on civil charges, and a heavy fine occurring against him or the company.

And I did say under a Republican administration, a Christian affinity SCAM like Zion Oil specifically WOULD NOT be shut down, any SEC investigator who does that is going to spend the rest of Trumps term in the chitter, and those investigators know it.

Na. Disagree. There are a few agencies still free to do the right thing, such as the FDA. The SEC should be no different. If the SEC doesn't litigate in the next yr, then ZN is probably home free. Or as close to it as they ever will be. All of the past audits being reviewed should be near completion. Also an alternative for the SEC is to never send a Termination Letter, indicating the investigation is closed. They have been known to do that.
