I don’t think so....you are assuming a higher value for that theoretical holder. If the holder hold 1,000 shares, at $2,000 price, their holdings’ value is $2,000,000. If they sell, 500 after tomorrow and before the effective date, assuming price remains $2,000, their sale proceeds would be $1,000,000
On 31 Aug, they wouldn’t have 4,500 shares in their account, because assuming price remains $2,000 ($400 post split), the value of 4,500 shares would be $1,800,000...that would be higher than what the value should be.
