Does anyone know if this is one of Mirage's projects (unannounced officially yet)? Cost is 643M so would need more funding if it is theirs. Makes total sense, it would tie into the Isthmus project.

DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE JÁLTIPAN GAS PIPELINE, FROM VERACRUZ TO SALINA CRUZ, IN THE STATES OF VERACRUZ AND OAXACA.

Construction of a gas pipeline that reinforces the current natural gas transport infrastructure in the Istmo of Tehuantepec region.

Currently, the Jáltipan-Salina Cruz gas pipeline operates partially in the region, with a diameter of 12 inches and a capacity of 90 MMcfd (million cubic feet per day). In 2014, this gas pipeline was rehabilitated and incorporated into the natural gas transport permit associated with the National Gas Pipeline System (SNG), owned by CENAGAS.

The new Jáltipan-Salina Cruz gas pipeline was conceived as a project to reinforce the natural gas transportation infrastructure in the Isthmus of Tehuantepec region.

The states that will benefit from its construction are Veracruz and Oaxaca.

The project consists of the development of a natural gas transport system by pipeline that will depart from the town of Jáltipan (Veracruz) and end in the town of Salina Cruz (Oaxaca), in order to provide natural gas transport in this way to increase the availability of this fuel in the region of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec.

During 2016 and 2017 CENAGAS carried out studies to quantify the potential demand and determine the technical and economic pre-feasibility of the project.
