Not necessarily true. Most of my biggest profits came from companies that went through a long quiet period before dropping big news. I feel if there was bad news coming he wouldn’t say anything at all. I think he’s just being smart and only announcing what he’s allowed as to not accidentally release any insider information about what they are working on. Jmo
