It won't be. It will be by the unique restoration of normalized cellular homeostatic processes, controlled and facilitated by properly-activated sigma-1 receptor proteins in neurons. Unlike other drugs, the Anavex drugs fix cellular anomalies at the top or start of the reaction pathways that cause all of the consequent, downstream pathologies and their symptoms.

My thinking this is a medical-pharma (invention), when considered in a certain context, represents a patentable process which AVXL is planning to apply for and to execute at the appropriate time. AD, PDD, RSD concurrently running trials will present (assuming success by efficacy) validation evidence (in context of PM) that a process to restore CNS Cellular Homeostasis can be controlled and is reproducible.

I claim when such a patent is granted to Anavex they will own a large segment of a new medical treatment field. I also think that completing these three trials (the trifecta) will be the basis for (21 CFR part 820, 210-226) validated and verifiable evidence to support the invention claim.

NOTE: I cannot prove any of this will happen, but it has been done before. The possibility suggests itself. This is the type of event which changes and re-writes history. AVXL will Re-write the medical books and treat massive medical problem WW. Not a bad day.
