I have been wondering what the 995ad.com deal worth? My estimate is:
Given from press releases:
1) In the spring a deal with a Chinese company that was placed in a pr stating they would pay $5.00 a share for 1/3 of the company with a total estimated market cap of 995ad.com at 300 million with approximately 45 million shares outstanding.
2) In September a pr was released that Real Time Assistant would be included in the 995ad.com offering. In the pr IDWD compared it to another similar company trading at $5.00 a share with massive debt. So I am estimating that RTA is worth $5.00 a share.
3) According to the prs, in Jan. and Feb. the 995ad.com source code was completely rewritten comparable to Yahoos on a small budget. Inventing new bells and whistles in the process. Being from software business in my early years, I was very impressed with the talented programming pool that IDWD has. That could be worth a lot to future owners.
My conjuncture:
4) At that time the 995ad.com was to be converted to Chinese for the Chinese market. Never heard again if that happen or not. But if it did, it would be very valuable to future owners.
5) The familiarity to the HLS 384 bit encryption that the programmers have and the ability to add high level security to internet functions would be very valuable to the future buyers. They could possibly compete with security software such as verisign.
So how much is the 995ad.com worth?
