Appelate Court on Flynn

Listening to the questions by the judges to Flynn's attorney
it looked to me like they were searching
for a way- an excuse to give the District court more power

same for the next guy
but with Sullivan's attorney, they seemed to go easy


So I'm just wondering if this case is being used to grant
more power to the courts over Executive branches all over the USA
