“The market is speaking loud and clear to those who care to listen.”

Well, the market is behaving like a beauty pageant or a popularity contest in that case.

You correlate our share price dropping - that’s Anavex share price dropping to market sentiment that our drug results will not be specific.

But, in blinded trials such as ours are, the market surely cannot know results and are only making a guess at best.

But, the market’s opinion has never dictated the laws of science or medicine. If a company’s stock were trading at $200/sh up around the BP’s and they put out an AD trial, that would no more reflect the chance of it being scientifically correct/successful than it did all the bones/graveyards of dead “mabs” these past 30 years. That’s why the market cannot logically dictate what our share price indicates.

BP Eli Lilly comes to mind. They ended a trial while having a huge share price, unlike ours - so market sentiment was incorrect. They spoke and all who cared to listen lost money on a CNS drug in their pipeline.
Similarly, if a stock (Anavex’s stock) were literally trading at one penny per share and the AD results or PDD or Rett came out and were stellar they would be approved (or at least scientifically correct). This goes to prove that there is NO CORRELATION between what the market thinks you are worth and your scientific results. And therefore, when the market speaks, it’s not always in your best interest to listen.

Here’s what the reasoning you are using sounds like:
If conclusions are based on popular polls, as you suggest our stock price is being measured by the market correctly, then, here’s what could be incorrectly derived -
Go to google.
Type in “How to convert to...
The Google autofill will complete that search with POPULAR answers in order to save you the trouble.

You will see the drop down box say: How to convert to...
The top most popular search answers will appear:
Catholicism
Judaism
Buddhism
pdf format

Can/should I conclude that pdf is the world’s 4th most popular religion because it’s the 4th most popular search answer (analogy to higher share prices dictate who will have best results)?

If so, - I always knew Scientology was a fluke. Someone break it to Tom Cruise...gently.

Bottom line:
Deductions, such as share price, based on mob mentality and popularity are a “Risky Business”.

My perspective, fwiw, in response to your statement.
