It just occurred to me that the last data we had from the P2b AD trial was for 148 weeks. This SAS application is based on the trial being completed and the need for a legal mechanism to continue to supply the drug to the participants that have requested it.

That means we should see the final data for the trial coming out for the full five year period. Basically there is 2 years worth of data that has not been published.

When that data does finally come out it might be more useful than the results revealed so far because MMSE is unreliable for anything under 3 years. What’s strange about your theory of trial end requiring a SAS is that the trial doesn’t end till November. Perhaps it took 4 months to recruit the 32 patients?

Estimated Primary Completion Date :
November 2020
Estimated Study Completion Date :
November 2020

I would personally add the fact that Anavex has only revealed the 148 week data to the negative side of the ledger because they should have data in hand that is beyond the 3 year unreliable mark. Why haven’t they revealed those results if they would be encouraging for investors?
