It sounds like you are inclined to believe that this is the proper interpretation:
".. B is more effective in the inhibition of the coronavirus relative to an equal amount of R"
"(10 uM keeps coming in mind)"
I don't know if these things address that:
"WAKEFIELD, Mass., May 19, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Innovation Pharmaceuticals (OTCQB:IPIX) (“the Company”), a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company, announced today that its anti-SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) drug candidate, Brilacidin, in an in vitro experiment using VERO cells, reduced the viral titer (load) of SARS-CoV-2 by 75 percent after only 1 hour of preincubation prior to infection at a concentration of 10µM as compared to vehicle control."

"VERO cells, a monkey kidney cell line commonly used to screen small molecule inhibitors of viruses, were used to test whether Brilacidin inhibits SARS-CoV-2. Cells were pretreated with Brilacidin at increasing concentrations (at 2 µM and at 10 µM) for two hours prior to the infection. Cells treated with the vehicle alone (Dimethyl sulfoxide or DMSO) were maintained alongside, as controls."

Both of those deal with VERO cell tests. The statement that I'm trying to understand uses human lung cells for B and VERO for R.
I get the sense that even if I could get clarity on the meaning of concentration that there isn't any consistency at all in the way the numbers are presented. Comparing Vero results to human lung cell results is comparing apples to oranges however the concentrations are measured, isn't it?
Have you seen the results of R testing in human cell lines and how THEY stacked up against the B results? Isn't that the appropriate question?
