With the rosy news from Motorola and Samsung about increased cell phone sales for the 3rd qtr and expectations of additional increases during the 4th qtr, you would think one of our analysts would be updating their 3rd & 4th qtr revenue forecasts for IDCC.

While I don't share mschere's enthusiastic projections, I do believe we have a strong shot at earning more than we did during the 2nd quarter. Hopefully that will be enough to get some buying interest back in the stock. These couple hundred thousand share trading days sure keeps a lid on the stock price and gives too much opportunity for the price dropping on very low selling pressure.

I do believe we should get a nice pop once earnings are released. It would be nice if NEC was able to give a heads up to IDCC about the amount that they are going to pay to obtain a prepayment discount before the quarterly cc. If IDCC was to announce that NEC was paying $100 million in prepayments during the 4th qtr, do you think it would get the attention of Wall Street?
