That version does not pass the smell test.

BP has been paying for combo trials of the CIs with any drug candidate that even mentions the word immunotherapy. You are telling me that BMY passed on a trial because they did not want to pay the cost of a few dozen patients worth of Opdivo? And in so doing left the door open?

Or is it more likely the negotiations involved Cognate and NWBO where the cost to restart -L production would not be such a minor issue. NWBO did pay to have Direct restarted, not -L.

This was a smallish P2. It was being sponsored by UCLA and had funds from NIH. There was nothing to even negotiate price wise with BMY.
