From another site: "I emailed Ms. Huffman last night about the Bloomberg article she wrote. Here was her response:

There was an amendment to HR 7617 (the vehicle for the six-bill appropriations package the House will pass tomorrow) offered by Rep Jared Huffman (D-Calif.) and adopted that would ban the Army Corps of Engineers from using any fiscal 2021 funds to issue a record of decision on the proposed Pebble Mine project.

I looked at the amendments to HR 7617 and it is there on line 50.

"50 Version 1 Huffman (CA), DeFazio (OR), Speier (CA), Levin, Mike (CA), Rouda (CA) Democrat States that none of the funds can be used for the Army Corps of Engineers to issue the Record of Decision for the proposed Pebble Mine project. Made in Order"

In looking at this bill in its totality, the likelihood of it passing in the senate are slim to none, but it needs to be followed at any rate."
