And you have to remember he wasn't sought out as a replacement for JZ. He was an easy pick with little or no effort on the part of the BOD. But what has bothered me most since the Du drop, is that he (management) seemed extremely flat footed in the immediate aftermath of the decision. People keep saying that the company has always emphasized that the courts can be unpredictable. Emphasized? Maybe mentioned in passing while reading off the introductory preamble before each investor presentation. If they were that aware that the court decision could go against them, why did they have no plan B cued up and ready to "emphasize"? I don't think they did (or do) have a plan B and they seem to be making it up as they go along. For example, why the change in direction regarding the roll out of the DTC ads? That doesn't sound like a company that had a great plan B on deck. As Joe Biden would mumble, I've said enough, my time is up.
