Lockdowns are not the only way to go. The problem is that denial is not a way to go.

I would have thought mandatory masks rules (mandatory because our population is to screwed up to just do the right thing), guidelines on social distancing and banning congested events would have been a better choice than a lockdown.

For those who say mandatory masks is a matter of personal rights, I would say the analogy is drunk driving. If you drive drunk you are most likely going to hurt yourself, but might hurt others. Same with the mask issue.

It is not a personal right to put others at risk.

As far as China, it is about Trump diverting the issue. Saying it is China's fault would be like the rest of the America's saying it is the US's fault. Or NY saying it is Italy's fault.

You have to take responsibility of yourself, not blame others as Trump wants to.
