Kiwi....

Underwent a "Shock Wave" procedure on my right lower leg on Fri July 24...Discharged on Sat...Today Monday I was able to walk one and a half miles with no calf pain...I had a regular balloon balloon procedure last month and had absolutetly no benefit..

My vascular surgeon who does not do "Shock Wave"...told me after the procedure that there was no run off in my popliteal artery and nothing could be done..My cardiolgist did the "Shock Wave"..and put in a non drug alluding stent..Which will require I stay on Eliquis, and pedi aspirin. And Vascepa for seven months..
The cardiac trials for "Shock Wave" are about to be completed and the results are going to be good..."Shock Wave is safer than traditional balloon atherectomies.."Shock wave" liquefies calcium in the arteries.

This morning I could walk a mile and a half and experienced no calf pain which means the the circulation is back to normal...
