It is beyond pathetic. It's like umpires with high strike zones and low strike zones, wide strikes zones that favor pitchers, narrow strike zones that favor hitters. Just call balls and strikes as set forth in the rules.

Same with judges regarding the pro-patent/anti-patent, and pro-procedure/anti-procedure predilections. When they become judges, they are no longer advocates, and are oath-bound to be neutral umpires. Just call it objectively in accordance with applicable legal standards, rather than infusing ego and ideological preferences.

The objective system of justice demands nothing less. Otherwise, lawlessness ensues. Right now, with respect to Amarin and Vascepa, it appears that lawlessness currently reigns.
