A couple of UFO related stories.

In 1957, there was an Air Force Major , named Kehoe that had been involved with officially investigating UFOs. He retired and started going public with some of the findings.

One of the TV networks announced that Major Kehoe was going to do a show and make some important disclosures on live TV.

I settled don to watch the show. Major Kehoe came on and saidc that he was going to revel some things on UFOs.

in mid sentence, the test pattern come on for a couple of minutes then an Army training film came on, that had nothing to do with UFOs. The film filled out the time slot. The program interruption was never explained.

Major Kehoe didn't go away but he rapidly faded from public notice.

Next story.

I have a cousin that graduated from Annapolis, in 1954. He took his commission in the Air Force. His first assignment was with Operation Blue Book, the Air Forces' early UFO investigative branch. He was with Operation Blue Book for two years.

Cuz was a brilliant man. The Air Force sent him to Cal Tech to study Astro-Dynamics. He became head of US satellite Intelligence and was the advisor on Carter's NSA for satellite Intelligence.

In 1970, Cuz visited me in Denver. He was at Buckley AFB as part of his position with satellite intelligences. A rather long story for a small punch line.

"Cuz, Operation Blue Book has been closed for many years. Tell me some things about UFOs"

Cuz smiled and said:

" Let's talk about something else."

In 1994 I was visiting him. I brought up our 1970 conversation and again asked him about Operation Blue Book. He said:

"Same answer"
