Moran's sentencing delayed again. Cooperating in another case.


Checked PACER today and found that an unopposed motion was filed last week to delay former DEWM CEO Moran's sentencing until at least November to make it easier for him to cooperate in another case related to the fraud in which he participated.

Here's an excerpt:

The Defendant continues to be actively engaged in cooperation with federal law enforcement officials with respect to proof of the allegations asserted in the stillpending criminal case styled United States v. Gregory Alvin Auzenne, et al., 2:19-CR-00053-KS-MTP, which remains set for trial before this Court beginning on November 2, 2020.

Of course, that trial will probably be delayed, which will mean another postponement of Moran's sentencing.

Will Moran be sentenced before DEWM files its overdue 1Q/20 report?
