I'm retired, not working and still paying taxes. But I'll tell you what Court, I sure do love that extra 600 on top or the 182 I'm getting for the few hours I was instructing Latin and Ballroom dance. You know, the chances of that coming back any time soon is remote considering social distancing.
Ad Hoc we're getting together dancing outside with masks about 17- 22 of us once a week at a local park gazebo and I have strict mask requirements. Just for fun and to remember some of our dance moves with an occasional lesson thrown it. Because we love dance.
Even if the recreation center opens where I instructed, which it won't, I'd say to them that I'll volunteer my time as I did unpaid for years until they put me on their payroll, just so that I can continue to receive the $$$.

I think you're missing the real point. This money was supposed to keep people from going out and contracting the virus, then tRUMP orders governers to "open" their economies. Now more people are sick and transmitting the virus. Well, Court, what do we do about that then ? That's more of a concern. Is it not ? The real problem is the virus, not the folks who are unemployed. If a comprehensive strategy was utilized, we would not be in this situation, now would we ?
