alm, you could very well be right. as to the ultimate outcome. Indeed, I hope you are right, and that the Amarin ship can be somewhat righted by the end of the year with a successful appeal outcome.

I adamantly disagree with your point that those critical of management do so without a clue as to the facts, as I think there are enough circumstantial facts to rationally give rise to my conclusion (B).

It is not that such a conclusion is reached "without a clue to the facts", but rather the conclusion is admittedly reached without having access to ALL of the facts, an important distinction. But as you acknowledge, the diametrically opposed conclusion, that settlement was impossible, is likewise reached without access to all of the facts.

Anyway, it is refreshing to have a wide difference of opinion and view, yet have a constructive non-incendiary discussion comparing and contrasting those respective views.
