The Market obviously believes that the divestiture has diminished the overall value of Dominion, and in addition would seem to indicate that Dominion let the assets go too cheap. Buffett has long been known for getting great value in connection with such acquisitions and never pulls the trigger unless he believes he is getting intrinsic value well above what he is paying.
