Great post SOKOL, as usual.

So, I am open to trying to understand what, if any, well-meaning concerns there may be to the steps that Anavex has taken to obtain the capital necessary to the development of its drug or drugs that may be of great benefit to society. Moreover, if well-founded worry or unease exists, I think it should be in terms that are meaningful and understandable. After all, we discuss a drug or drugs that may affect the lives of human beings with dreaded and fatal consequences—their lives matter.

Most are here b/c of the science which presents great medical promise and logical controls. The last min. financial deal done at the last min before a long weekend does present all the drama of a great mystery-tragedy . Why now? What's next? WTF (is a complete sentence BTW). OMG, we are screwed for sure, just think of all the lost sleep. GASP.

I sure as hell hope we are going to have a nice surprise. Have to admit, I never saw a financial (surprise) PR coming. But, we got one. So having no data or reason to doubt the trials underway I am going to say at least we know it was planned and well executed (like everything else around here), no surprise there.

It is also obvious from reading the various post from some pretty well informed people that no one else has any real facts related to WHY NOW. ONE THEORY IS AS GOOD AS ANOTHER, SO FAR. Although, It is true that the biotech graveyard is full of dead people lying there with surprised looks.

So, after some thought and study I have concluded that no one has a clue as to exactly what is going on. So, I default to my belief that Dr.M. will pull off some good thing. Not sure what, but I am not any good at sitting around wringing my hands. Whatever it is, get on the bus or NOT. Pilots and crews report to your ready rooms B/C SOMETHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN.
