I thought Singer did a nice job to sully the defendents' credibility, such as actions they took, which delayed the proceedings by an additional two months. How they cropped critical evidence excluding data that refuted their claims. How they added last minute diversionary evidence that was not part of the trial record. Singer deftly uses the defendents' own trial record to paint them as "non-believers'." IMO, that's pretty incriminating when viewed as a whole. As a Judge, I would be troubled by the slightest perception of trickery before the court.
