I wonder if you could use liquidmetal to injection mold the frames of multiple sizes of iPhones like Russian stacking dolls or measuring cups. If there are four models, four frames cast in one, and perhaps further multiples of these if the molding volume allows for it.

In fact, imagine one liquidmetal molding action can make something 6" by 6". Further imagine that all sizes of iPhone frame will be .3 inches high and that four different sizes of phone frame all fit inside one another.

Given the above, you could injection mold 3*4*6=72 frames per shot (3 sets of frames per inch, 4 frames per set, 6 inches).

Maybe they have enough machines right now to meet Apple's demand?
