SP's, Shore Patrol was the security?? I'd think AF security would've done that.
Even on land bases there, always thought they were AF.

Like I said, I was 500+mils out over water, waiting for my plane came back ie,
if my plane came back, the aircrew came back also,
kind of a weird way to think about yet,
when I signed off an aircraft, it was going to do what the driver wanted it to do.
