I'm not saying it was full fledged biological warfare. However, here's a couple of things to consider.

1. The chinese were in the PROCESS of creating something and it escaped b4 they could polish/finish it. (And as I hope you know, when it comes to nature, there is no such thing as 100% containment, when you are dealing with large numbers). i.e. they were using it on animals...that means you have animal caretakers, food, etc coming in and out. Even a Level 4 lab won't contain something like a virus with a 100% guarantee.

2. Look at the consequences of this thing (doesn't need 90% lethality to wreak havoc)
-- Huge damage to economies worldwide.
-- Massive social unrest (Guessing this is financed by the CCP of china)
-- Destabilization of entire cuntries is in process.

If you want to 'take over' an opponent, you don't necessarily kill him...you weaken him to the point where they can no longer resist you.

So, 'who stands to gain from this' is an interesting question to ponder.....
