If you're investing in any of the restaurant chains this is a good link to keep handy. OpenTable has a public online data set to track reservations. The short version is, restaurants in the US are in trouble.

Scroll down to the spreadsheet, "Seated diners from online, phone, and walk-in reservations". Change the filter from "Country" to "State". View the carnage. Some won't survive, maybe many but the restaurant chains that are financially sound will be huge winners in a year or so.
