I am guessing that the IDH mutation work was the main reason for the post April 18 delay and that NWBO would not have delayed DL and TLD by more than 3 months if they did not consider the IDH mutation data to be very important.

I am also guessing that identifying the patients whose GBM carried the IDH1 mutant and those with the wild type could highlight the importance that early DCVax-L treatment has in prolonging the lives of GBM patients. My guess is that the long term survival of Treatment patients depends mainly on their early DCVax-L treatment and much less on the presence of the IDH1 mutant.

I am also speculating that long term survival of SOC patients, will turn out to be dependent somewhat on their late DCVax-L treatment and to a great extent also on the presence of the IDH1 mutation.
