Ha, ha. I think that quote was attributed to Willie Sutton, the gentleman bank robber. One of his nicknames was Slick Willie. My parents were lifelong Republicans and I don't remember them ever referring to president Clinton as anything but Slick Willie. It wasn't a mean reference, just a recognition that the guy could say anything and get the majority of people to believe him.

Banks are underrated today. WFC is way underrated because they got caught cheating most recently. If any investor is naive enough to think there's a big bank that wouldn't cut your heart out for an extra penny of profit, you're swimming in the wrong pool.

These are good investments and while they're highly regulated after 2008-2009, their staff are much smarter than the regulators and they'll continue to make sure...that's where the money is.
