SPG missed a dividend payment in May and this looks like either trying to give a perfect answer about their current dividend situation or stalling. Judging by the price action traders expect a dividend cut. The share price went up from 53 on the day the dividend was supposed to be distributed as the SPX went up. SPG hit 93 but the SPX stayed pretty much there while the SPG took a 30 dollar drop.
