Put yourself in Fauci's shoes or BARDA's shoes.

Your RBLs submit data that shows Brilacidin could/should work against the entire range of viruse to include Ebola, HIV, Flu, and other very dangerous viruses. It also shows to potentially be able to provide a complete treatment for CV19 and a host of antibacterial and anti-inflammatory problems.

You have made statements that there should be a vaccine by early 2021 and I think all in medicine knows this is implausible. And again, if the vaccine is only good for a few months are we going to have to live in a socially distanced world in the future?

Brilacidin could prevent this from occurring.

Would you want to have to answer to many deaths from CV19, HIV, Flu, etc in the coming months, not to mention wrecked economies, and the possible suspension of most of the things people like to do (get together for parties, go to sporting and cultural shows, state fairs, movies, etc) as to why you low-balled a possible total treatment when you spent like drunken sailors for everything else related to CV19 up to this point in time, to include massive amounts to BPs for worthless drugs trying to be repurposed?

If it was me, I would err on the side of an additional $50MM or so for testing something that has the chance to bring an end to this whole nightmare?

I now respect those that don't agree, but I don't understand why anyone would feel IPIX/RBls are going to be short changed on funding for a complete look at Brilacidin.
