The economic disaster of the lockdown?!

Well a proper response from the get go would have helped!

So instead, mitigation and the asking of one financial quarter to get a handle on a pandemic,,,testing, supplies and keep the medical world from being overwhelmed..

Handled right by the government, proper loans, look out for the hungry, mortgage and landlord relief etc you think we could have handled it being the greatest economic power in the world,,,

People would have had the confidence to go back to a more normal life...but no, we caved and now people are not confident and not going to be as the states that didn't respond well will now most likely become a crisis and spread the virus even back to those that didn't have it.

No, handled right, one financial quarter of loss would have been a far easier recovery and less expensive than what we are going to face with lack of confidence and prolonged spread and even crisis...Other countries have shown it could be done, we failed and It's going to cost us..

We could have made a step towards a civilized world, instead, it's a missed step...And one can point to who pushed reopening and wonder about the changing of The conversation, wether it was to stop criticism of the initial response, turn attention away from states that were making sense or just a blundered financial decision..

The virus will play into the election in more ways than one.....
