Repost... Solar cooking fulfills all eight of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

The United Nations has a project that is on going with the purpose of enabling the populations of the second and third world countries to cook with solar energy instead of fossil fuel. The projects name is mentioned above for those who wish to research.

Initially the project was designed with small single family solar cooking units as the main strategy of implementation. However as the projects developed it was understood that a need for a larger solar cooker which could accommodate orphanage homes, hospitals and the like had surfaced.

On the sun oven website you find the following

In addition, we assist in implementing projects to help orphanages to gain self-sufficiency through the sale of bakery goods sun-baked in VILLAGER SUN OVENS®.

https://www.sunoven.com/about-us/

The VILLAGER is the only manufactured commercial solar oven in the world. Over 1,200 meals a day can be cooked or hundreds of loaves of bread can be baked powered by the sun.

Pvdg owns the Villager the focus of this oven is directly in line with the objects of the internationally FUNDED
Program described above.

The oven can and is being used for...

School feeding programs...Community feeding.... Retreat centers ....Emergency relief · Hospitals (Cooks food and sterilizes medical instruments.

You can watch this video below and it will show you the villager and how it works. However my intention in sharing this video was not to help educate you on the functions of the ovens but to let your eyes see a little something.

Did you catch it....

Did you notice who sponsored and created that video.....The Hero relief organization....

Paul Munsen is the former president of Sun Ovens International, an Illinois-based company that manufactures solar ovens for use in 126 countries, from Haiti to Ghana, Afghanistan to Sri Lanka, North America to North Korea...

He addressed the United Nations on the environmental impact of using solar ovens and worked with the U.S. Department of Commerce to find a Haitian Partner to manufacture and market the solar ovens in that country. Along with Teacher Hero Rowena Gerber and her students, he baked for the World Food Program on top of their building in Washington, D.C. He cooked for and broke bread with Nelson Mandela in South Africa

So we are seeing that sun ovens is involved in some capacity in the program mentioned at the start of this message which is internationally funded under a United Nations program.

Example of the program at work

There is a lot transpiring behind the scene that we are not privy to however from following the evidence we can see why sun ovens indeed generates revenue in the ten of millions and there is much room for continued growth
