Unless the last month of enrolled patients have all passed, it is inconceivable to think they’ll hard lock before five years from last surgery. They’ve already admitted they are pleased they were able to go out this far to demonstrate the tail. August gets us to five years from the last nGBM surgery. A soft lock is yet another way for them to get five year data (ultimately under the hard lock). My take is still,

IF NWBO does not intend to move to hard data lock until August or until its most recently enrolled survivor celebrates his or her 5 year post surgery anniversary, why did NWBO inform us on June 2 that it is quite possible that the remaining pre DL work (queries, IDH mutation work etc.) may be resolved within two weeks plus change? NWBO's June 2 update suggests that a hard DL could be in force no later than by the end of June.

I can't imagine that LP & company would delay a data lock for up to 5 weeks just because one or a few more survivors have not yet celebrated their 5 year post surgery event. Just because Optune's shady 5 year survival estimate was based on an inadequate 24 months minimum follow up of its surviving patients, does not mean that a minimum of a 58+ months post surgery follow up for every survivor should not be good enough for NWBO's DCVax-L trial. JMHO.
