Erm.....forgive me if I'm being dense, but AFAIK nobody had ever tried to use pure EPA to lower TGs w/o raising LDL in a population with TGs > 500 before AMRN, so there was no prior failure of others - unless you buy Du's convoluted logic that Mori contained a theoretical patient with TGs = 500, but even then Mori did not show stat sig diffs between EPA vs. DHA except for their effects on TGs and insulin levels. Last post for me today, brain is beyond tired, not thinking clearly and having visual migraines now - had a horrendous allergy attack yesterday that knocked the crap out of me, so if I wrote some dumb stuff today forgive me.
