I might believe that had I not been given a crash course in acquisitions and partnerships by someone who did them for years for a billion dollar pharmaceutical and food supply company. I spent 4 days learning the ins and outs of the process. The competitors lights went on when we got NHS client payment approval, and our First FDA clearance, thus the immediate visit from Ma Bayer, who wanted to see what we have, as they have competing products. They did their autopsy on our products, manufacturing capabilities, sales, and management. We are no secret to any competitor nor are we able to hide anything. The 180 day tweet/hashtag journey was riddled with clues for any competitor to see, even the dumbest. GSK contacted AW according to him with an offer that he refused, several years ago. The silence ploy is just that a ploy that makes no sense, and never did. Silence and invisibility are BAD BUSINESS. Most Companies have R & D, knowing your competition is an integral part of that. JMHO Have a great night.
