As I understand this now is that NWBO will from here on only submit a timeline update for the TLD announcement and it will do so only if it becomes necessary.

I am dropping for now their "commitment" to update but it seems highly illogical to me that NWBO would update the data lock time and not do the same for TLD.

I don't believe that NWBO tried to convey the idea that in case of a substantial delay of the TLD announcement, NWBO may or may not submit an update of the timeline for TLD. That would be an insult to the intelligence of shareholders. Alternatively, the wording "There may be a similar update", can only be justified if in case of a short delay to TLD there may be no announcement whereas if the delay is substantial, there will be a timeline update announcement.
