Much appreciated

This is EXACTLY what I was trying to bring back to the board, discussion and sharing info and relevant opinions

I dig the technical stuff and I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a novice

To me, knowing how stuff works is very important to making educated decisions in trading

So I try to learn as much as I can. I also think that a broader base of educated investors is good for everyone

Those that were following recent events understand the hurdles I was grappling with and got side tracked a bit

Clint Moore’s publications were helpful in my basic understanding of salt tectonics, I wish I could have thanked him in person.

On the re-drill T2, does the extra MPD equipment and cost get absorbed by the insurance or do they typically just pay for the same level of gear as the first drill. Part of me says you probably get a chevy not a cadillac if your chevy gets totally destroyed. Part of me says the re-drill would be done with whatever conditions indicate would be prudent (cadillac)

If Mahogany has a working kitchen, how likely is it that those same source rocks and conditions are present at T2? In other words, is the trap the main make or break for oil filled reservoir?

I’m easily reachable via email in my profile if anyone wants to chat by email or phone

I have a few easy data mining tips and tricks to share for some of this type of technical knowledge

Y’all made my day with the burst of real discussion

Cheers!
