I know the thought was that Du 's judgement was unpredictable and that Covington did what they could and pushed the two populations argument without much traction. But:
(1) They failed to pin down Heinecke enough on the issue of Hayashi...we were not debating whether one could lower TG's above 500mg/dl with EPA but whether we could lower TG>500 and reduce LDL/ApoB
(2) They failed to hammer home the issue of the Mori statistical analysis and they faiked to point out the Kurabayashi statistical fiasco also

They say you make your luck through effort, Covington may have dropped the ball...
