Is this error the fact that there was no statistical difference between EPA and DHA in Mori?

If so, that was something that was discovered shortly after the ruling by someone who also posted here I believe.

Du drew that conclusion, which was erroneous. DHA raised LDL-C significantly, EPA raised LDL-C non-significantly, but the (unpublished) difference between EPA and DHA was non- significant.

Mori did not note that point in the paper, but that fact was derivable from the data in the paper.
