On the day Obamacare past the Dim House, she and seven Black Congressmen walked from the House Office building through Tea Partiers that were protesting Obamacare. She was holding her Speaker's gavel like a torch.

Media photographers were stationed along the way to take pictures of hoped for reactions from the crowd. There was little. The Black Congressmen said they were spat on, though none of the herd of photographer caught it.

There is a tunnel that runs between the Office Building and the Capital. It has carts for the Reps to ride in. Nancy's usual way of making the trip.
