Look, I get it, but I still see it as frustration over being logical. They’re trying so hard I feel. There are like 6 people that work there. I’ve spoken to Les on the phone at times and he’s always carrying on at least 2 other conversations but he always talks to me, always. Same with Innes. I used to have a business, always under capitalized for years. I couldn’t get a loan, had shit credit because I used it all starting the business. I had to wait for payments while others loved my work and had to start other jobs on a small deposit. I was always trying to meet my deadlines. My great customers like the Coast Guard and Exxon Shipping were very good to me and always pushed me but because they saw how hard we worked spending extra hours to make up for being behind we finally after 7 grueling years got ahead of it. Many companies just ditched me despite providing higher quality because they thought I was too small to be able to handle their work, that to them I wasn’t “professional” enough because I couldn’t get paid quickly enough or have capital. So I understand and have deep empathy for the stick to it-ive-ness of what they are. People stuck by me and I succeeded, including my employees who went without pay for weeks sometimes. They all believed in me because of how hard I worked and whether they thought I wasn’t a good enough business person they never said so, while plenty of others just held their tongue and cheered me on.
